![]() Any other quadratic equation is best solved by using the Quadratic Formula. The quadratic formula may also demonstrate when no solution exists (something that is difficult to see with factoring). If the equation fits the form \(ax^2=k\) or \(a(x−h)^2=k\), it can easily be solved by using the Square Root Property. The Quadratic Formula takes longer and you have to be careful with arithmetic but it will give results when factoring wont work. If the quadratic factors easily this method is very quick. ![]()
